Leafstory is a place for loved ones to create and share their stories. Subscribers can use our mobile app to help them write about stories from their past or present. Simply talk to Lola, creating different chapters and she will draft the stories for you.

It's a bit like magic! We've created an AI biographer called Lola. You simply have interesting conversations about your life, and within about 10 seconds, she drafts pages and chapters of your story for you, ready for you to edit, update, or add to as you see fit. You can also record voice notes, and she will write pages and pages of your story, with no effort on your part!

Leafstory was founded by Leon & Adam, who are passionate about the power & potential that stories have to bring families closer together, especially in times of need. Adam's nan, Margaret, had dementia in the later years of her life, and he saw her lose her memory, lose her story, and lose herself. Living on opposite ends of the country, he felt he only learnt a lot about his nan and her life after she had passed. Leon & Adam worked together 10 years ago on a tablet computer that aimed to help people write their life story, after Leon's dad turned 70. They found that people don't want to sit and type this out, so they created Leafstory to make building your life story and involving your whole family really fun and easy.

The reason we charge for Leafstory is so that this is a private space, not even we can see what's created & shared. You won't see adverts or other unwanted things happening because you are paying for this service and for this space to be private.

Yes, you can include photos in your story. When you add a photo, you can choose to add it to the story of your choice.

As part of a subscription with Leafstory, you get a printed book every 18 months for free. If you want a book sooner, you'll be able to order a beautifully printed book at the click of a button for £99 in the first year, or £59 after that. Your book will include photos, a family tree, and QR codes that link to voice notes and videos, so you can hear and see stories from the person telling it in their own words.
